Big Beard Apps ("we," "us," or "our") built Gunmark as a private firearm collection catalog. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

Information We Do Not Collect

Gunmark does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any personally identifiable information through the app.

How the App Works

Gunmark has no studio backend. There is no Gunmark account, no Gunmark API, and no Gunmark server holding your collection. Every firearm entry, component, photo, document, receipt, and note you add is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

• Nothing is uploaded to Big Beard Apps or shared with any third party by us.
• Optional Apple iCloud sync (available since build 20) uses CloudKit under your Apple ID, not a Gunmark backend. You can leave it off; the app works fully on-device.
• If you delete the app without a backup, export, or iCloud sync, your data is gone.

Photos & Documents

Photos and documents you attach to a firearm or component (receipts, tax stamps, forms) are stored only on your device. Gunmark uses Apple's system photo picker and file picker, which let you choose files without granting the app broad access to your photo library. Attached files are never uploaded anywhere.

Exports

Gunmark can generate a PDF or CSV export of your collection on request. That export is created and saved locally on your device. You choose where it goes from there (for example, AirDrop, Files, or Mail) using Apple's standard share sheet. We have no visibility into, and no copy of, anything you export.

App Lock

If you enable the optional Face ID / Touch ID lock, authentication is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device. Biometric data never reaches Gunmark or Big Beard Apps.

App Store & purchases

Downloads and Gunmark Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information. That relationship is between you and Apple.

Analytics

Gunmark does not use any third-party analytics or advertising services. We do not track how you use the app.

This Website

This website (gunmark.app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build a profile of you. The Gunmark app itself does not track you.

Children's Privacy

Gunmark is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
