iCloud sync and backups

By default, nothing syncs
Gunmark keeps your collection on your iPhone. iCloud sync is optional and off until you turn it on.
Turning it on
In Settings, you can switch on sync through your Apple iCloud. Your data goes into your private CloudKit database, under your Apple ID. There is no Gunmark login and no Gunmark backend, and Big Beard Apps can’t read it.
Leave it off and everything stays on the device.
Backups
Device iCloud Backup works the way it does for Notes. If you delete Gunmark without a backup, an export or iCloud sync, your data is gone.
A simple habit: export a PDF and CSV now and then, and keep them somewhere you trust.
Sharing is a copy
When you share a PDF or CSV, a copy leaves the device. That’s expected, but know where it goes.
